How to BUY from Amazon and SHIP to Nigeria in 10 Easy Steps

It's been years since amazon started shipping to Nigeria and Kenya, but not everyone knows how to go about this. If you're not used to the amazon website you can't find products that are eligible to be shipped to Nigeria.

Do you think this is a serious competition for our very own JUMIA and KONGA?  before you answer this question I am going to walk you through 10 easy steps to source your products on amazon and have them shipped to Nigeria.

1. Sign in OR create an Amazon account.

If you are completely new to shopping on amazon and do not have an Amazon account, you have to sign up for one to be able to make purchases on the world's largest e-commerce site.

2. Next Go to Your Account.

Scroll or navigate to Settings option, select Manage Address book and edit your default shipping address. This is the address where your items will be shipped to. Please ensure your address is correct o!

3. Now start your Search for items on Amazon.com

This is very easy because there is the search bar where you can type in keywords for products you're looking for.

4. Now On the left side of the screen, under Refine by, select the Ship to Nigeria/Kenya check box.

One of the easiest ways to find items eligible for shipping to Nigeria is to select the Free International Shipping option.

5. Now Your search must have been filtered. You will see items marked Eligible for shipping to Nigeria/Kenya.

When you find what you want to purchase from amazon, Add the item(s) you want to buy to your cart.

6. If you are done shopping, return to  your cart, and then click checkout.

7. Now choose your desired shipping address by clicking Ship to this address or you can add a new one at this point.

Like I said be double sure your address is correct to prevent loss of shipments.

8. Choose a delivery option

There are 2 types of delivery options, but your choice will determine the import fees and shipping charges.

9. Now it's time to Select your payment method.

You can pay with your debit or credit card. But Nigerians prefer shopping with amazon Gift cards.

10. Now you will be taken to the review page. On the Review your order page, the import fees deposit will be calculated. Currency Conversion is available here, for select currencies.

Once this is done, place your order. You are good to go.

The shipping and handling cost will vary depending on the product. It could be less than $50:

Or something like this. Yikes!
